Candida Spit Test

Easy Instructions - Candida Spit Test

Candida can be difficult to diagnose. In fact, many experts believe Candida overgrowth is one of the most prevalent causes for so many health problems.

Candida overgrowth causes everything from skin infections and vaginal infections to more insidious problems like weight gain, acne, and even depression.

Most people recognize they have a problem only when the problem becomes a surface issue. That is, they recognize Candida overgrowth when they get a skin or vaginal infection.

However, candid may be causing problems for you long before and after a skin or vaginal infection.

In addition to recognizing the hidden symptoms of Candida overgrowth you can do a simple test at home. The test is called the Candida spit test. Here’s how to do it.

Step One: First thing in the morning when you wake, fill a clear glass with purified water. You want to make sure the water is as free from chemicals and other elements as possible.

Step Two: Before you eat or drink anything and before you brush your teeth, spit in the water.

Step Three: Watch the spit for approximately 10-15 minutes. You might want to perform this test on the weekend so you don’t feel rushed to get out the door.

Step Four: Notice what happens to your spit in the water.* Did it fall to the bottom in a cloudy lump? If so, you likely have Candida in your system.

* Did it stay at the top and develop long strings that extend downward toward the bottom of the glass? If so, you likely have Candida in your system.

* Did it turn into small cloudy specks in the middle of the glass? This too is a sign you have Candida in your system.* If it disappeared in the glass you’re okay. Candida is not a problem.

A word of caution. While many experts stand behind the Candida spit test, some do not. It’s not a controlled medical test and therefore subject to interpretation.

For a sounder and medically reliable test you might visit your physician and request a test. You can also send away for home testing.

If you suspect you have Candida overgrowth you can often get it under control by taking a few simple steps. The first and most important is to take a look at your diet.

Sugar, starchy carbohydrates, dairy and pickled foods feed Candida in your body and help it grow.

Cutting these foods out of your diet will essentially starve Candida and help eliminate it from your body.

Take the spit test if you suspect you have Candida overgrowth. Then start taking steps to eliminate this fungus from your body.
